There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes at Gilday Insurance Agency, and we’re excited to finally share it with you.

Our agency has grown, our team has expanded, and we’ve officially moved into our newly renovated office in Mill Creek, bringing our team together under one roof.

A Growing Team with Decades of Experience

One of the biggest changes has been the growth of our team.

We’re now working alongside Janet and Steve from Stephen Abraham’s agency, bringing together decades of experience across personal insurance, commercial insurance, customer service, and sales.

With that comes more knowledge, more perspectives, and more people working together to help our clients navigate their insurance needs.

We thought this was the perfect opportunity to introduce you to the people behind Gilday Insurance Agency.

Meet Ty

With 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, Ty is dedicated to helping families, individuals, and business owners find coverage that fits their needs.

Originally from Yakima, Ty enjoys skiing, music, boxing, spending time with his wife, twin boys, and dog, Snoop, coaching youth flag football, and—of course—following Washington State sports as a proud WSU alum.

Meet Claire

Originally from Lake Forest Park, Claire has been with the agency for more than two years, helping clients with both service and sales needs.

She enjoys making insurance easy to understand and providing clear, personal guidance clients can feel confident in. As a new mom, Claire also enjoys spending as much time as possible with her growing family.

Outside of the office, she enjoys getting outdoors, cooking, baking, and working on creative projects.

Meet Janet

Janet brings 22 years of insurance experience to the team and has worked alongside Stephen Abraham throughout that time.

Her extensive knowledge and dedication make her an important part of our customer service team. Outside of work, Janet enjoys spending time with her family and pets, gardening, and crafting.

Meet Melik

A Seattle native and Rainier Beach alum, Melik is passionate about helping the community that raised him.

He enjoys helping local families make sense of their insurance and find coverage that works for them.

When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Melik spending time with family, hiking the Pacific Northwest, gaming, or hanging out with his favorite four-legged friends.

Meet Valeria

Originally from Turin, Italy, Valeria joined the agency in November 2025 and brings more than six years of account management experience, along with a background in education.

She enjoys helping clients find solutions that work for them and making insurance easier to understand.

Outside of the office, Valeria loves animals, music, hiking, and traveling, and especially enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog, Bender.

Meet Steve

Steve has been a Farmers agent for more than 40 years, opening his first office in Mountlake Terrace in 1988 before relocating to the Bothell/Mill Creek area in 2001.

With decades of experience in the industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge to helping commercial insurance clients navigate their coverage.

Outside of the office, Steve enjoys spending time with family, tackling projects around the house, and competing in cornhole.

A Fresh Space for a New Chapter

With our growing team, we knew we wanted our new office to feel like a place where our team could work together, welcome clients, and continue building relationships within the community.

We gave the space a refresh with new flooring, updated interior paint and brand colors, and new window tint, creating an office that feels fresh while still feeling like home.

We also took the opportunity to update our team headshots and capture photos throughout the agency. We wanted to share a little bit of what happens behind the scenes—and introduce the people you’ll see when you walk through our doors.
